I’m Kelly. I’m originally from Hong Kong, grew up in Beijing, and moved overseas on my own for college. New York was the first place I landed.
That’s why there’s an airplane window here. It brings together the places that are part of my story, and the journey that brought me here.
A little of where I’m from, in the place I am now.
That curiosity also shows up in my work. Whether I’m tracing a payment issue, looking through customer data, or working through requirements with a team, I want to understand what’s happening, why it matters, and what would help.
Today, I work in payments technology at UBS.
I’m interested in bringing that experience closer to how products are implemented, processes are improved, and business decisions are made.
EXPERIENCE / THE CONNECTING THREAD

Connecting business needs with technical implementation.
FEB 2023 — PRESENT / STAMFORD & NYC
Investigate payment, settlement, reconciliation, and workflow exceptions across interconnected systems using SQL and BI tools. Contribute to CHIPS and Fedwire ISO 20022 transformation through requirements translation, XML message validation, defect tracking, and go-live verification. Coordinate testing and remediation across Operations and Technology teams.
2022 / NEW YORK
Built Python and Flask search and REST API tools on MongoDB. Worked with GitLab CI/CD and performed API and integration testing involving AWS S3 and DynamoDB workflows.
2019 — 2021 / BEIJING
Worked across eight B2B SaaS and digital-advertising client engagements, translating business goals into requirements for Product, Data, Marketing, and Engineering. Analyzed more than one million customer and campaign records using MySQL and built Tableau dashboards on audience behavior, campaign performance, and product adoption.
